Mr. SumermalPugalia was born in a renowned business family follower of “Jain SwetamberTerapanths” Religion in a small town of Sri Dungargarh in Dist Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Born in the family of Businessmen at that time the parents did not allow their Children to learn music. It was considered as a very low job. There was a custom that child (male) will complete his study and join father’s business. This reason deprived him of a basic knowledge of music. There was a “His Master’s Voice” radio at his Home and when his father went out of the home, he used to sing Md. Rafi Songs together with his voice whenever his songs were broadcasted on radio. This is the only basic knowledge of music in his Heart.

There was his younger maternal uncle late Jaskaran Anchalia, he used to write Parodies on filmy songs. Whenever he met him, he insisted him to sing those Parodies. After Two-Three years when he was 14 years he told him that he can compose his Parodies in a new tune, but he did not believe it and avoided his request. But one day when he sang his Parodies in a new Tune, then he realized that he can compose new tunes. Thereafter, he started composing his Parodies and also his own Lyrics in new tunes. Sumer Pugalia has composed his 18 – 20 Marwari lyrics in new tunes, out of 15 Marwari songs can be listen on this Website.

Looking into his passion for music, one day his wife told him that you are wasting your time only by writing and composing your songs. Why doesn’t you think to record your songs so that people can listen and enjoy. But he was hesitant and remained mum. But was surprised when after two days one person Mr. Tapas Ghosh came to his house and inspired him to record his songs. This all was arranged by his wife without informing him. Since then Tapas Ghosh is assisting him to note his music notations and is guiding him in the technical aspects of music.

After that he has composed various types of songs (Marwari & Hindi) of his own lyrics. He is very much engaged in his business beside that he spares lots of time in writing as well composing his own lyrics in different tunes & singing.
